DLIMS Punjab: Apply Online for Learner & Regular Driving Licenses in 5 Easy Steps
Getting your driver's license in Punjab has never been easier! Thanks to the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS), you can apply online for both learner and regular licenses in just a few clicks. Here's a simple guide to help you navigate the process:
Step 1: Register on DLIMS or Rasta App
Your journey begins with creating an account on either the DLIMS Punjab website (https://dlims.punjab.gov.pk/) or the Rasta App (available for Android and iOS). Provide your basic information like name, CNIC number, and contact details. Once registered, you'll be ready to initiate your application.
Step 2: Fill Out the Application Form
Next, choose the type of license you're applying for (learner or regular) and proceed to fill out the online application form. This form will require personal details, address information, and your desired license category.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Now, it's time to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
Learner License:
- CNIC (front and back)
- One passport-size photograph
- Medical certificate (if above 50 years old)
- Regular License:
- Valid learner permit/license
- CNIC (front and back)
- Two passport-size photographs
- Application Form A
- Rs. 100 bank receipt from any HBL Bank branch
- Medical certificate (if above 50 years old or applying for a commercial license)
- Driving license ticket available at the center
Step 4: Generate Payment Slip and Pay Fee
Once you've uploaded all the documents, a payment slip ID will be generated. You can pay the required fee through ATM, online banking, or mobile banking channels for your chosen license type.
Step 5: Schedule Your Test (Learner License) or Receive License (Regular License)
For learner licenses, you'll need to schedule a computer-based theory test at a designated center after successful online application. Passing the test with at least 6 out of 10 correct answers will lead to the issuance of your learner license.
For regular licenses, once your application is processed and verified, your new license will be delivered to your doorstep via registered mail within 4-6 weeks.
